Date night doesn’t always have to mean the traditional dinner and a movie! Sometimes the best dates are the ones where you try something entirely new and adventurous, getting creative, laughing together, seeing new things together for the first time, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Tallahassee offers many unique ways to spend time with someone special, whether you’re looking for a fun, adventurous activities, some friendly competition, expressing your creative side, or a quiet, romantic evening with one another. Here are some of my favorite unique date-night ideas to help you plan a memorable night or day out with your special someone.
Do you and your loved one love cooking? Or literally just eating?! You have to check out the events and classes here! The variety of options are AMAZING- from oyster experiences, journeys through various countries, cookie decorating, pasta making and more. Make sure to sign up for your interests quick as it is an intimate, small table setting and these events sell out fast!
Is creativity your niche? Try something new, fun and relaxing! You can walk in anytime. For a small studio fee, you're able to pick a piece of pottery, and paint it as you like. They provide the studio space, the paint and all the time you need. Leave your painted piece with them and they will glaze and fire it for you, then pick up your finished creation in 7 to 10 days. To make it even more fun, ages 21 and older can BYOB. They hold special events, even a date night every Friday evening with a two-for-one studio price, and you can book a party for your special events. Drop in and be inspired!
